Folorunsho Alakija is the founder of The Rose of Sharon Foundation. Alakija is not only the richest woman in Nigeria but also a style icon and dedicated philanthropist. She was named Best Fashion Designer in Nigeria in 1986, after which she ventured into the oil industry in the 1990’s. She is passionate about supporting widows, giving them confidence, restoring their self-esteem and hope for their children’s education through her Foundation.
