KELLY DARR
PRODUCER AND SENIOR ADVISOR SPECIAL PROJECTS
Kelly Darr is Co-Chair of the Entertainment Committee for F4D and brings over 20 years of experience in various aspects of the entertainment industry including music, artist management, film production and philanthropy. Working with the GRAMMY Foundation since 2001, she has overseen production of various fundraising events and programs, including the annual GRAMMY Week Music Preservation Project/Concert, and manages outreach for artist engagement in activities while serving on key music or film related boards. Prior to her involvement with the Foundation, Kelly was the Vice President, Operations (Los Angeles) for ImageDirect. In this role, Kelly managed the company’s day-to-day operations, administrative functions and ongoing client relationships. Before joining ImageDirect, Kelly oversaw Development and Operations for Incognito Entertainment, a motion picture production house and artist management agency. While at Incognito, she aided in the initial setup of the company and worked closely with the company founders to manage the careers of accredited and aspiring directors, actors and writers. Also, during this time, Kelly partnered with Academy-Award winning editor Gabriella Cristiani to aid in the development of feature film projects.
Prior to her involvement with these organizations, Kelly was with Virgin Records America for nine years, ultimately holding the position of Vice President, Administration and Management Advisory Services. While at Virgin, Kelly oversaw operations and efficiencies planning for the company, including three sub-labels. She focused on corporate strategies for success and recommended and implemented Convent Recording Studio for demo recordings.
She has always had a heart for philanthropy, working with many organizations employing strategies for changing the world in which we live.
